Emma Berkery - Irish (1979)

Emma Berkery was born in Limerick in 1979 and now lives and works in Belfast. She is influenced by the group of American artists known as the Colourfield Painters, in particular Helen Frankenthaler and Morris Louis. Berkery describes her work as “an exploration of paint and the emotive qualities of colour”.
