Wolfram Stumpf was born in 1943 in Breslau Wroclaw. Since 1982 the Fanad Peninsula in Donegal is where he lives and paints. Stumpf’s landscape paintings capture the beauty of the Donegal area around him and are impressionistic and often cubist in style, influenced by the great French painters L’Hote and Gleizes.
His work has been exhibited in numerous one person and group shows in Germany and Ireland, including the R.H.A. annual exhibition. Private collectors in Ireland and throughout Europe have commissioned and purchased Stumpf’s paintings.
In early 2007 at Ross Fine Art, Donegal, his inclusion in an important Group Exhibition saw all his works sell.
